Race: Highlander, with Garlean heritage.
Profession: Mercenary. Formerly Twin Adder Officer with the rank of Captain.
Skills: Proficient with a number of weapons, including both Bozjan and Garlean gunblades, as well as small daggers and knives. Survival specialist. Minor proficiency in Magitek engineering.
Residence: A dusty apartment in New Gridania, largely left empty. She's rarely found there.
Ellis Ward is an extremely polite, if somewhat distant woman. She is not given to starting trouble and will usually go out of her way to avoid it. Soft-spoken and usually quiet, she is often seen in the company of soldiers and adventurers.Born in Gyr Abania, Ellis' looks suggest some Garlean heritage, though her father brought her as a young child to the Black Shroud where she was found by Adder scouts after his untimely demise, likely caused by the woods' general unwelcoming forces. From there, she grew up in the Gridanian orphanages and joined the Twin Adders as soon as her age would allow.Ellis has worked alongside the Adders and with the Alliance for nearly all of the more recent conflicts, though other conjurers and soldiers have a hard time placing her in their outposts and battles. In the aftermath of the Garlemald's fall and the advent of blasphemies, the Captain resigned from her post and now works as an adventurer for the most part.
Scars of War
If you were involved in war, there is a chance you met in battle. Ellis is not very open but she has a soft spot for those that fought alongside the Alliance during the most recent wars and efforts, including the Ilsabard Contingent.
Shared Blood
There is nothing Ellis despises more than Garleans, despite sharing blood with them. If you are a loyalist and want to press some buttons and ruin her day, it'd be very easy to do.
Muscle for Hire
Ellis is open to work, especially of the violent sort. She's particularly skilled in escorting precious cargo and navigating hostile terrain, though she can be particular about what jobs she accepts.
